Brilliant. Kinda makes me wonder when the whole “web 2.0″ thing will burn itself out. I’m mean, haven’t we collectively satisfied the web’s considerable thirst for shiny gradients and Trebuchet MS?

    Gotta say, after stifling laughter from noticing that “the new at&t” needs no conversion to the Cult of Web 2.0, the NBC logo, actually could work. Clever cropping of the peacock.

    I’m sure someone wants my head now, for thinking this. Perhaps the ghost of Paul Rand, or the near-ghosts of Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar who took 5 years to release the current peacock.
